White Sauce Pasta Recipe
White Sauce Pasta Recipe with photos and step by step method. There are many types of pasta recipe in India by most popular is of two type. One is Red Sauce Pasta and another one is White Sauce Pasta. In India pasta is made by different ways by different household. All about their taste.
White Sauce Pasta Recipe might be familiar, but for many, it may not be a known recipe, especially with many Indians, pasta means Red Colored Pasta. It can be made in dinner or in breakfast. It is very popular among children. I have made this recipe more easily and quick making recipe.
Tips For Making White Sauce Pasta
- Use Vegetables of Your choice. Sweet Corn, beans, onion, Carrot etc. are excellent for creamy white pasta.
- Before using left over pasta, re-heat them with 1/4 cup milk or water to make sauce thinner.
- If you are the cheese lover then add chopped cheese when told in the method.
- use any type of pasta as per your preference as you can use wheat pasta for healthy diet or you can use Maida pasta as per your taste.

Ingredients
For Pasta:
- 3/4 Cup Pasta (any type of pasta)
- 4-5 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oil
- 1/4 cup chopped Broccoli
- 1/4 cup chopped carrot
- 1/4 cup chopped red/yellow capsicum
- 1/4 cup chopped green capsicum
- Salt as per your taste
- 1.5 tablespoons Butter
- 1.5 tablespoons Maida
- 1.5 Cups Milk (250 ml)
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic (Optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano (Optional)
- pinch of Black Pepper Powder
- Salt as per taste
Method
- Boil raw pasta according to the given instruction on the package or follow below instruction. Take 4-5 cups water in a bowl, boil it on medium flame. When water start boiling add 1 teaspoon olive oil, 3/4 cup of pasta and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Boil them until they become soft. (check whether pasta is cooked or not. If you want to check, check by taking a pasta in a folk and bite it. if you fell that, pasta is cooked then switch off the stove)
- Transfer Cooked pasta to a large bowl and drain all the water from it.
- White Pasta is cooking, heat 1/2 teaspoon oil in a pan over high flame. add 1/4 cup chopped carrot, 1/4 cup chopped green capsicum, 1/4 cup chopped red/yellow capsicum, 1/4 cup chopped broccoli and salt as per taste.
- Mix it and cooked it until all the veggies become crunchy, for around 2-3 minutes. Switch off the stove and transfer it into a plate.
- Heat 1.5 tablespoons butter in the same pan over medium flame. Add 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic and mix for 30 seconds.
- Add 1/2 tablespoons Maida.
- Mix continuously and cook for a minutes.
- Pour 1/2 cups milk little by little while stirring continuously with a whisk.
- Stir and mix for 1/2 minutes.
- Reduce flame to low. Continue stirring and cooking until mixture starts to thicken. It will take around 3-4 minutes depending on the size and thickness of the pan. When mixture starts to coat the back of a spoon as shown in the picture here, it means that it has started to thicken
- Add 1/4 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes, a pinch of black pepper powder and salt.
- Mix it properly.
- Add fried vegetables and pasta.
- Switch off the stove. Mix well.
- Transfer it to s serving plate. White sauce pasta is now ready. Garish it with grated cheese and serve while they are still hot.
