Dahi Vada
Dahi Vada is also know as Dahi Bhalla. Dahi Bhalla is famous on northern part of India & Dahi vada is famous on southern part of India. As vada is made in a donut shape, but for eating with yogurt, it is made in ball shape.
Dahi Vada is a type of snacks (chaat). It is originated from India Subcontinent & popular throughout South Asia. It is prepared by soaking vadas (fried flour balls) in thick dahi (yogurt).

Collect all the ingredients listed below !
Ingredients
- 200 grams Green grams dal
- 250 grams curd
- 500 grams Date (khajoor) Chutney
- Red chili powder
- 3 Green chili paste
- cumin seeds powder
- salt
- 1/4 Cup cilantro leaves
- Oil fir frying
Method
Soak green grams for 4 hours. Grind it on the stone to make soft vada. Add salt and green chili paste, fry vadas in oil. Do not keep the batter, as they will not become soft.
Put this vadas in like warm water. Squeeze out water and serve in plate. Spread curd, date chutney on the vada. Sprinkle salt, red chili powder and cumin seeds powder.
